This User Agreement defines the usage rules, service scope, functional specifications, and user responsibilities for the Scelis application. Scelis is a professional background replacement and AI video creation tool, enabling users to capture new photos or upload local images, adjust background styles and tones, and generate personalized image and video works for daily creative use. All user creations are stored locally in the app's two-column Works gallery, supporting preview, playback, gallery saving, system sharing and independent deletion. Scelis provides optional in-app purchases including coin packs and auto-renewable subscription plans, offering users exclusive creative benefits such as subscription bonus coins, gallery saving permissions and priority customer support. Scelis does not require any account registration, login authentication, real-name verification or personal identity binding of any kind, supporting completely anonymous and private usage for all users. Scelis exclusively relies on fully self-developed Scelis AI service and local rendering architecture to complete all image analysis, background segmentation, background replacement, color tone adjustment, picture optimization and image-to-video dynamic generation processes. The application does not invoke, access, rely on or cooperate with any third-party AI algorithms, third-party cloud servers, external technical interfaces, third-party rendering engines or third-party data processing services. Scelis will never upload, transmit, synchronize, share, forward or externally store any user original photos, uploaded image materials, personalized style parameter settings, temporary AI rendering cache files, generated pictures and video works to any third-party institutions, service providers, public network platforms and remote servers. Scelis adheres to the highest-level privacy protection standards and implements a permanent zero-collection policy for all user facial information and biometric data. Scelis will never collect, scan, identify, extract, analyze, record or store user facial features, facial biometric templates, portrait recognition data, facial contour information, self-portrait data and any other personal biological identifiers. The app will never use facial data for user identification, feature matching, portrait profiling, advertising analysis and AI model training, and does not integrate any third-party face detection and biometric analysis tools. By downloading, installing and continuously using Scelis, you confirm that you fully read, understand and accept all terms of this Agreement.
Scelis is only available and open to users who are eighteen years of age or older. Only adult users who have reached the legal age of majority in their respective regions are qualified to download, install and use all creative functions, paid services and subscription features of Scelis. Minors are strictly prohibited from using this application and all built-in services. We reserve the right to permanently restrict device access and terminate all usage qualifications once minor usage behavior is confirmed. All usage behaviors and related responsibilities are independently undertaken by adult users.
Scelis grants users a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable personal license to use the application on personal mobile devices for individual non-commercial creative purposes only. All intellectual property rights of Scelis, including self-developed AI technology, product interface, functional logic and visual design resources, are fully owned by the official team. Users are prohibited from cracking, reverse engineering, modifying, copying, renting, selling and commercially exploiting the application and its internal resources. All creative processing and generation procedures rely entirely on Scelis's self-developed AI service system without any third-party technical participation and external data intervention.
All core creative processes of Scelis run locally on the user's device. Users can freely upload qualified images and match different background styles to complete personalized image and video creation. All generation tasks are independently processed through the app's local AI system. The self-developed Scelis AI engine only performs overall picture background replacement and visual effect optimization, without any facial feature extraction, facial biometric analysis, portrait identification and facial data storage behaviors. No user creative data and private content will be transmitted to any third-party institutions and external servers.
The camera and photo library permissions requested by the app are only used for image shooting, material uploading and work exporting. All permissions are actively authorized by users and only serve basic creative functions. Temporary cache files generated during operation can be cleared manually, which will not affect users' locally saved creative works.
Users must use Scelis for healthy, positive and legal personal creative creation only. Users are fully responsible for all uploaded image materials and final generated works. Users are strictly prohibited from uploading, generating, editing, saving, exporting and sharing any pornographic, vulgar, obscene, violent, bloody, terrorist, illegal and socially inappropriate harmful content. Users are also forbidden to create content that violates public order and good customs, infringes third-party portrait rights, privacy rights and intellectual property rights.
Users may only upload original images that they own or have obtained complete legal authorization to use. Any legal disputes and liabilities arising from unauthorized material uploading and illegal content creation shall be independently borne by users. Although Scelis does not actively monitor users' local creative content and does not transmit any user private data to third-party services, we reserve the right to permanently terminate user usage qualifications for any violation behaviors.
All images uploaded by users and all AI-generated background replacement images and video works are fully and exclusively owned by the users themselves. Scelis does not obtain any ownership and commercial authorization of user creative content. We will never use user uploaded images and generated works for AI algorithm training, technical iteration, commercial promotion and public display, and will never transmit user creative content to any third-party institutions and platforms.
Users have full independent control over all local creative works, and can freely preview, save, export, delete and share personal works. Deleting works within the app will not affect the files that have been saved to the local device photo library.
We reserve the right to conduct version updates, functional optimization and bug fixes to improve user creative experience. Continued use of the app after updates constitutes acceptance of the latest service rules. All product updates will never change Scelis's core privacy protection commitments, including independent operation of self-developed AI services, zero third-party data transmission, and zero collection of user facial and biometric information.
We reserve the right to revise and optimize this User Agreement according to product iteration needs. Revised terms will be displayed on the in-app settings page and take effect immediately. Continued use of the app represents acceptance of updated terms. Core privacy protection mechanisms and independent AI service operation rules will never be weakened or changed.
